The following questions may be helpful in resolving the issue of “camera appearing offline” during camera setup (when connecting the camera and the router via an Ethernet cable):
- Before adding the device, you may hear a continuous “beep” sound (if there is no sound, please reset the device).
- Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the same router or LAN as the camera.
- Make sure DHCP is enabled on the router.
- Make sure MAC filtering is not enabled on the router. If it is enabled, you need to temporarily disable MAC filtering.
- If you switch from Ethernet to Wi-Fi in the app, you will be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi password. Make sure the provided Wi-Fi password is correct.
